The Voice In The Darkness

Once I heard ancient echoes
ringing so clear through the air,
Heaven and earth trembled,
I saw though the darkness there.

Pairs of eyes glowed, twinkled
piercing my heart, earthly soul;
a voice came deep, lowly,
spoke only once, then no more.

In that time I heard it,
understood all it could tell,
knew then, will forever,
from the voice where darkness dwells.

Ode To Her

Lost in the fire
of her deep hazel eyes,
fountains of her heart,
pools of her affection.

To swim in depths of her,
dreams without end,
lost in her tender scent
and to kiss her very soul.

In peace and silence,
always intertwined,
never shall separate,
but to dwell with her in forever.
